# Privacy Policy for Daily Spark – Motivational

Daily Spark – Motivational ("Daily Spark") is a personal productivity and
self-management app that helps you manage habits, tasks, notes, goals, and your
daily plan — all in one place.

This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the
choices you have.

## Information We Collect

### Account Information

Daily Spark uses authentication to keep your data private and synced across
devices. When you create an account we collect:

- Email address
- A display name you choose

### Your Content

The app stores the content you create so it can be synchronized across your
devices and restored if you reinstall:

- Habits and habit completion history
- Tasks and subtasks
- Notes
- Goals and milestones
- Daily planner activities
- App preferences (theme, notification settings, language)

### Usage and Device Information

- Notification permission: only used to deliver the reminder notifications you
  explicitly enable (habit and task reminders).
- Error and performance information may be collected to improve the app.

## How We Use Information

We use your information solely to:

- Provide the features you use
- Keep your data synced and backed up
- Improve the app's reliability and performance
- Respond to your support requests

We do **not** sell your personal data.

## Storage and Security

- Your data is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database (Supabase).
- Network communication is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
- Your data is isolated from every other user using **Row Level Security** on
  the database. Only you can read or write your own content.
- Passwords are managed by the authentication provider and are never stored by
  the app.

## Advertising

Daily Spark – Motivational does not currently display third-party advertising.
If advertising is added in the future, this policy will be updated and you will
be informed before any personalized advertising begins.

## Notifications

Daily Spark can send local notifications for habit reminders, task reminders,
and planning reminders. Notifications are only sent for reminders you turn on,
and you can disable them at any time in the app settings or in your device
settings.

## Permissions

Daily Spark only requests the notification permission when you enable
reminders. The app does not require location, camera, microphone, contacts, or
media library access.

## Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except:

- Where required by law
- With service providers that help operate the app (for example, the database
  host) who are bound to keep your data confidential

## Children

Daily Spark is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has
provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can
review and remove it.

## Data Deletion

You can delete the content you create at any time from within the app. If you
want to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the
address below and we will remove it promptly.

## Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted
on this page, and the effective date will be updated.
